Trying to learn more of what I’m not that knowledgeable about
Hi community! I was diagnosed with MS in 2014, not knowing and not really taking the time to learn about it, I went 6 years without a flare up, and in late 2020 I started experiencing difficulties with fatigue and balance, my symptoms progressed so bad that in 2022 my doctor told me my line of work was unsafe and I needed to resign and think about disability, I went into a real dark place and I was super depressed. I progressed to a cane, then a walker and before I knew it I was in the hospital in August of 2023, being in the hospital really opened my eyes and I refuse to go down without a fight, I have since been through physical therapy and am no longer using a aid to assist with walking. I have a saying that i use as motivation and I heard Montel Williams say it, “I have MS, MS doesn’t have me!” #mystory #ihavems #msdoesnthaveme
