Gearing up for surgery.

I am going to be 3 surgeries within the next 2 months. Needless to say it’s going to be hard next few months. The first one (my third sesamoidectomy) is in 8 days. I am thankful they should all be outpatient if all goes well. Right now I am only a little nervous (maybe slightly more than a little). I have had surgeries before but this one has higher risks and stakes plus their is the recovery. I am preparing myself as much as possibly can. Any tips or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. #Surgery #ChronicIllness #LivingWithPOTS #PosturalOrthostaticTachycardiaSyndrome #Dysautonomia #HEDS #ComplexRegionalPainSyndrome #ChronicPain #sesamoiditis #Anxiety #CheckInWithMe

Does anyone have chronic foot pain?

I have sesamodititis in my left foot (kind of feels like my right foot too) and a Morton's Neuroma in my left foot. It has been two years and the last few days the pain has gotten worst. I've tried so many things and nothing really worked. It's really frustrating to not be able to walk without being in pain and thinking about pain. It really affects my mental health. #ChronicPain #footpain #sesamoiditis

Running

For some reason I want to run when I frustrated, mad, need a break from life, or motivated. I don’t know why I want to do it. nothing else can satisfy the fact that I want to run. I have several medical conditions that would be bad if I actually ran such as postural orthostic tachycardia syndrome, asthma, vocal cord dysfunction, chronic sesamoid issues, recent surgery (cleared to be active), and knee pain, plus pain in various places. I am also horrible at running and hate it when I am actually doing it. the effect of me running could be detrimental yet I still want to do it. I am wondering if I should just give in and try it. I might talk to my physical therapist, but I am pretty sure she will tell me no. am I crazy? has anyone else experienced this? #PosturalOrthostaticTachycardiaSyndrome #Dysautonomia #Asthma #VocalCordDysfunction #Surgery #sesamoiditis #ChronicPain #Running
