Neck Misalignment symptoms

I have been dealing with left-sided head and face pain, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, pain in both arms and a buzzing feeling in my body. I have seen a Chiropractor who said my top 2 neck vertebrae are misalgined. I have seen him 9 times and he said the vertebrae are in the proper position. However, I am still dealing with the constant symptoms. Anyone experiencing something similar? I have been dealing with this for the past 2 years and the pain is so terrible in the back of my head!!!#neckmisalignemnt #facepain #nausea #Dizziness

Hi! My name is mal. I’ve been having these symptoms and honestly I don’t know what they are I’ve had lots of these for years and I recently went to the doctor about this and he told me that I was dehydrated which i was but my symptoms didn’t get better with drinking more water. For context I have been diagnosed with anxiety, adhd and an eating disorder anyway to the symptoms.
.cold and hot flashes
.constant purple/mottled hands and legs
. Numb hands
.often dizzy
.when I stand up I often sit back down because of feeling lightheaded
. Nausea before eating
.often sweaty
.often tired after simple tasks (dishes, making bed)
If anyone knows anything related to these symptoms I would appreciate so much if you could reach out. Thank you!!! #help #nausea #Dizziness #dizzy #cold flashes #Hot flashes #numbness #purplehands #Fainting #lightheaded #Sweaty #chronic fatigue

The Case of the Mysterious Malady

So I have a problem. And before anyone comments, “just go to the doctor!” I am trying but I live in America with crappy insurance so it’s… difficult.

Anyway, all my life I’ve had fatigue, brain fog, and social anxiety. So I’m used to panic attacks and all that. But the past couple of years symptoms seem to have skyrocketed to what feels like an actual illness but nothing I’ve researched seems to perfectly fit. I was wondering if anyone on here has had this myriad of issues to help ease my mind that I’m not dying until I can get to a doctor:

Fatigue is present always, along with anxiety. Like, the jitteriness NEVER lets up. I’ve also developed constant dizziness. It feels like the earth is moving beneath me when I stand and walk and I also always veer to the left, so when I walk I look drunk. There’s also what feels like leg weakness. And when I stand my chest is heavy and I can’t take a deep breath until I’ve sat down for at least an hour.

Then, on what seems to be part of my monthly cycle during my period of ovulation and my actual period my heart RAMPS up. My resting on a good day is 73bpm. During these periods it stays at a constant 100-125bpm. It’s gotten as high as 160. But after this period it always goes back to normal. I also get even more anxious and emotional during these times and my previously listed symptoms get a thousand times worse.

I also get very hot very easily. Like, I have to stand in the freezer at work in the winter to feel normal type of hot. I lost like 50lbs very quickly during the onset of all these symptoms and now I’m always hungry. I also developed light sensitivity to where it hurts sometimes to watch my favorite superhero movies.

There’s also times where it sort of feels like I’m out of my body? I can’t really describe this sensation other than a combo of not being in reality and mildly losing my mind. But then the sensation passes and I’m just left in a weirder brain fog.

Has anyone else had this and did you ever get it diagnosed? The closest thing I’ve been able to find is a thyroid condition. It covers the heat and light sensitivity. But is it possible this is all just anxiety in it’s most annoying form? I just need reassurance.

Thanks for reading! #Anxiety #Hormones #thyroid #medical #Dizziness #BrainFog #weakness #Fatigue

Anyone else deal with chronic dizziness?

I have been dealing with dizziness for 2 years now. It started right after I had my left foot reconstructed. Right after I came home from surgery, I had a bad reaction to Vicodin and ended up back in the hospital. While there, I experienced what I thought felt like being stuck on a roller-coaster. A day or so later, I felt like I was stuck on a boat, being tossed around by the waves. I had pressure on my skin. I went to an ER, but the doctor didn't help. I called my family doctor's office and was diagnosed with benign positional vertigo. Treatment helped a bit, but it didn't get rid of the dizziness.

About a month after surgery, I had problems with chest pain and heaviness, neuropathy, and my dizziness got worse. I ended up in the hospital again. My heart checked out fine, but it took me a few months to come out of it. I saw an ENT, but my dizziness doesn't come from my ears. I had an MRI of my brain, but it came back clear.

A neurologist diagnosed me with cervicogenic dizziness and prescribed physical therapy for my neck. It helped a bit. When that didn't work, I saw a chiropractor and then a massage therapist who did cranial sacral massage and then a physio therapist who specialized in treating dizziness and confirmed the cervicogenic dizziness diagnosis. They all helped a bit, and the dizziness gradually got better and better.

Until I had COVID, and then my dizziness started getting worse again. For the record, the room doesn't spin when I'm dizzy; it's more like I'm stuck on a boat or being pushed by the wind. I stagger sometimes when I'm really dizzy, but I have never fallen because of it. I have seen another cranial sacral massage therapist and chiropractor, but they don't seem to be doing much good. My rheumatologist told me that he would send me to another neurologist. I don't know what else to do. It's been 2 years, and I am beyond sick of it all. Does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this? #Dizziness #chronic

That wasn’t a challenge!

Dear life, when I asked if I could feel any worse, that wasn’t a challenge!

The antibiotics definitely aren’t working, and the side effects have me feeling worse than ever before.

How awful I’m feeling makes me want cuddles but I only saw my boyfriend yesterday so I’ll just have to wait it out :(

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello fellow Potsie friends 👋🏼
Lately I’ve had this constant feeling of blood rushing to my ears in a pulsing rhythm. It feels a bit like when you’ve stood up too fast and you’re about to pass out. The problem is it’s constantly there, even when I’m sitting or laying down. I was wondering if anyone else had dealt with this and if so how do you deal with and/or stop it ? It’s really getting on my nerves and it’s getting hard to focus. Thoughts?
